Hi all,

Has anyone heard of a recent ruling on good time? Apparently, the DOC was taking away good time without following the proper rules/procedures (hearings, etc.). An inmate (or several, I'm not sure) supposedly filed suit on this and won... good time that was taken "illegally" was given back. Is anyone familiar with this or where I would go to get information on this case law (if it exisits)?

Thanks,
Heather

Yeah, this rule does exist. This is a "dead" bill in the congress. Because there weren't enough prosecutors er.... um, you know what they call that people holding up the signs supporting the bill? Yeah, that. LOL! What's the correct word? I'm an idiot, heh. Anyway, we need those kind of people to rev the bill up and make the bill go through the congress again. There IS a website, but I cannot find this right off my head. So PM & remind me and I can find it ASAP.

Protester. Is that the word you were looking for?

Don't worry about it!! I have changed entire posts because I couldn't remember a word!!

Let us know when you find the web site on this issue.

Thanks.
