Ok, I'll go first. What makes me tick????

My husband, without a doubt. My love for him is so strong, and to me it doesn't matter what he did, he is still my soul-mate.

Next would be my children. I have 2 from a previous marriage - Steve is my oldest, he is 22 this year. He is in the Army, stationed in Colorado Springs. I learned in January of this year that he got married last June to a wonderful young woman named Amber. Steve and Amber are expecting MY first grandchild September 15th of this year. Just 7 days before my birthday. What a wonderful gift they are giving me.

Lauren, is my only daughter, and my baby. She is 9 going on 17 (she thinks - ha ha). Already has had 3 boyfriends, and has experienced her first kiss, on the cheek of course. Lauren & I have had a very stressful year this year.

Ok, other than my kids, (and my computer), I am a writer and a singer. I am in the process now of completing my first novel (a romance of course) and will be sending it to publishing houses soon.

I spent 3 years in the Army (most of the time in Germany) which is where I first got the singing bug. I traveled Germany with a band during my "off-hours". I have also sang with bands here in the states. Went to Nashville a few years ago and actually met Randy Travis and Reba McIntyre. What a day that was!!

I am into crafts heavily also. I crochet and do plastic canvas. Anyone need a tissue box cover? I have plenty of them.

Things I like: puppies, kittens, country music, southern gospel music, and my favorite movies are anything with Julia Roberts or Richard Gere. Favorite type of movies: westerns - My altime favorite movie is Lonesome Dove/Tombstone it's a toss up.

I have to say that THE most imprtant thing in my life is my faith in God and studying His word.

Ok, I guess I have bored everyone long enough. Saw this new one here and no one had posted in it yet, so, who's next????? Shortie? Sherrie?

Come on guys, don't be shy!!

Tracey:

I love to play around with writing also, but have never gone as far with it as you. I love to read and Music is the most favorite thing in my life. It is uplifting and upbeat.

I can sit for hours just listening to music. I do try to sing once in awhile. Even do some Karoke at times Ha Ha.

Nice to see something about you. This is a great forum

Keep that karaoke machine away from me! I'm karaphobic! I don't sing! But I sure love to listen to others.. So, I actually have been to a bunch of karaoke bars.. (Can you tell I have been ambushed to get on stage??) I do good at piano bars though! JFYI! haha..

Tracy, I also like writing.. But, mine is more of a technicle nature. Have you ever thought about publishing your own material? I have studied a LOT about that and it is a very do-able thing now days.. Especially with stores like Amazon and programs setup by Barnes & Nobles.

Keep up the good work & thanks for the story..

David, no I haven't thought of that, does it cost a lot of money? Can you send me some info on it?
