Do you maybe mean the phone lists for the different prisons? We do have posts on Phone, Fax and email addresses. Barb

inmates can call whomever they want to, as long as the recipient is able to accept their calls.

The phone list is put together the night before. The inmates have to sign up for their phone times. There are only so many phones so it is done this way to stop problems. The phones are set up for 15 minute time slots. A1A inmate can get 1 a day. A2B inmates get 1 a month.

what you are reading about phone lists on other threads relates to other states - where inmate's have to get phone numbers approved thru DOC before they can call... No such thing here in california

A friend of mine doing time in a Fed Pen in CO says they have to put together a phone list of people they call. I think they are allowed 15 people or numbers on the list. When they go to make a call they don't dial out conventionally, they dial a number from 1 to 15 and tada the phone call goes through to who they are trying to call. Does that make sense?

my b/f is in Camp Hill and there they have to submit a list of all the people they want to call and have it approved before they are able to make calls. The same as with visiting lists.

In New Jersey State Prisons the inmates have to submit a list of people'e numbers that they want to call and these numbers have to be approved by the DOC. They are allowed only 10 numbers on their list at any given time.

Iam really beginning to think they are on lockdown. It's common for this time of the year. Has anyone talked to their loved one's lately?
