Does anyone have any information about Van Service in Michigan. I used to have phone numbers, but I lost them and I am not sure where I got them from. I am plannning to be in Detroit over the holidays in November and I know that his sister will take me one day but I would at least like to get a two day visit in. Thanks for any info. :)

I been hearing good things about a new van service located in Auburn Hills called
CORRECTION CONNECTIONS 1-866-91-VISIT

Its really hard to know from month to month because so many pass through and then it doesnt work out so they stop the service. The best advice I can give you is to call the facility you are associated with and ask at the front desk. Some have service offered locally and some have ride share. Good luck and enjoy your visit with your loved one and here in the wonderful state of Michigan.

I have also tried the Correction Connection. Unfortunately, they do not service my loved one's facility, but they do service several other facilities in the state. The person I spoke with was very pleasant and informative. Also, I don't know your financial situation, but thier fees are very resonable. You may want to try giving them a call. Hopefully, someone will start a service the goes all over Michigan! Or am I dreamimg? Anyway, good luck to you.

I travel accrossed the entire UP to visit Justin and as always I am willing to pick anyone up along the way (M28) to visit at any of the facilities in Kincheloe/Kinross...

Anyone who wants to ride along pm me I will be happy to pick you up along the way..My next visit will be probably end of Sept/early October... I visit two days and stay one night...

I'm new to PTO but I must say that I've tried the van service of Correction Connections.
My daughter and I visited her husband this past week in Jackson. She has a new lease car but didn't want to put on the additional miles. We learned of this new service by calling the Robert Cotton prison. The driver was real nice to us and the smoke free van was nice and clean. I strongly recommend this service. They have a toll free number of 1-866-91-VISIT.

I ride with MISS Transportation. To find out what days he goes to what cities you can dial 313-438-1200 and press 2. I don't know where your desired destination is, but if it isn't in the upper peninsula, there's a chance that he goes there.

I just talked to one of the owners of Correctional Connections and he told me if he finds a good amount of people interesting to go to Kinross, Hyatha and those facilities around that area he would do it. He said just give him a call and let him know if you are interesting.
