hello everyone.. i was hoping i could get some questions answered.. i was informed by my fiances counselor today that he will be going from reception to main line this week!!! i am thrilled, finally a contact visit!! I have a visit booked for this friday with him in reception, will i still be able to visit if they move him to main line before then?? and another question was do we still have to call the same phone # to make a contact visit?? how long are contact visits? what can you bring, do, not do..sorry if my questions sound silly but this is all new to me..thank you anyone who can answer any of questions!! i really appreciate it

Yes, you should be able to visit. There pretty quick oddly enough when they mainline
someone from Reception. Bring your DL, 30 dollars in quarters or 30 $1.00 bills for
the vending machines. No more than 30 bucks, also get a clear zippered change purse.
Small. Can't remember the actual size, but you need to get one of these. One key only.
No keychains. Yes, you have to call the same number for either a contact or non-contact visit. Unless he is on Death Row, there would be a different number. You can
have a quick kiss and embrace, don't risk a big make out scene at first. You can hold
hands, and I think you will be able to sit next to him, or across from him at a table.
Be very careful about what you do, and what you don't do, the Guards are always
watching. You don't want those precious moments taken away for something that we
would view as stupid, but the prison does not. Hope this helps. Suzi
