Hey Guys How Is Everyone ????...i Just Wanted To Share Something From Luis....i Recieved 2 Letters This Weekend ..and It Was Very Heartbreaking :( ....luis Told Me That Because Of Weather In Texas ..(they Are In Tornado Ally) The Water And Electricity Were Shut Off For Two Days ..he Said They Did Not Have Water To Drink And The Air And Lights Were Off ...he Siad It Was Real Bad..that There Are 25 Guys In A Dorm All Cramped Together And With No Water And The Air Off It Was Terriable ..he Said They Had To Use The Restroom #2 And #1 In Plastic Baggies Because Of The No Water And He Said The Smell Was Awfull ...you Would Think They Would Bring In Water For Emergenceys Or Be Prepared For A Situation Like This ...i Am Very Sad For What He Has Had To Go Through ..but To Who Do You Complain ..is My Voice Going To Make A Difference In This System ...do They Care If I Complain I Have E-mailed The Warden Several Times But Of Course I Never Get A Reply ..and I Probly Never Will...i Feel Like They Forget They Are Dealing With Human Beings ..who Do Have Familys ...who Love And Care About Them ..what Would Any Of You Do In This Situation Any Advise Is Welcomed ..i Kind Of Am A Little Scared To Make Waves ..since He Might Be Coming Home To Az Soon And What If I Ruin That ..its So Hard ..helpless And Hopeless Wife ...

So sorry to hear that about Newton. My friend didn't mention that in his letter which I just got yesterday. He's in detention and not in the dorms. I can tell he's more depressed than usual and writing me more frequently. He tried to use his calling card and it wouldn't work.

Maybe they feel their contract won't be renewed and don't care anymore. I've asked my friend if I should call his counselor.

I talked to Luis Last night and he said the problem is still there no water no light ..he said it goes off and on and that guys are fighting and nothing is being done about it I am really sacred now ...he wants me to send him the address to News channels dont know if that will work I hope it sounds like its really crazy there now :mad:

Last month, my friend said channel 13 in Tucson had asked to interview Newton prisoners from Tucson. They came back and filmed after the interview. Those who weren't from Tucson were invited to submit letters. I have checked their website for the past few weeks and haven't found any news. I'll send them an email. Karen
