Just found out today. Headed to Taft, CA for a 24 month stint. If anyone has been there recently, or has a loved one there, I'd appreciate any info regarding travel, hotels nearby, DAP availability, work programs, etc.

I Don't Know Much About Taft. My Boyfriend Is Finishing Up A 20 Month Sentence There. All Tha I Know Is That It Is Close To Bakersfield. I Also Know That They Get To Have 30 Min Phone Conversations And They Only Cut The Phone Off Whrn It Is Count Time. My Boyfriend Said That It Is Pretty Cool, He Said Some Of The Co' Have Bad Attitudes, But I T Comes With The Territory
