New warden for USP Lompoc




Compton succeeds Herrera as warden

4/18/04 The federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) has selected Bobby Compton to
succeed Al Herrera as warden of the penitentiary in Lompoc.

The BOP announced its decision earlier this week. Compton is the warden at the
penitentiary in Jonesville, Va. He will assume his new post in Lompoc May 30,
according to a BOP press release.

DO you think the new warden will be good or bad? Will people be afraid to do anything or will it be a power struggle?b

It's often things will go on...it's not often you hear of all these things in the media. BOP is very good at keeping things out of the public eye...with all that has been wrote on this facility.....

My opinion....I think with the new warden, things will change for the better. But, again thats just my :twocents:
