Does anyone know how I can find a medical doctor, private, that will treat
for herion addiction with a new medication called LAMM? I live here in Sonoma
county and can't find a private doctor in my area that will see Eric and treat
him for his past drug addiction to Heroin. I read about a new medication
called LAMM that only requires a addict or recovering addict to use this
medication only 3 times per week, and is not as addictive to Methadone.
Any info that anyone can provide me with would be greatly appreicated.

Check the SAMSHA [Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Dept. of Health and Human Services] website for referrals for Buprenorphine which is thought to be more effective which can also be given via a personal MD who has been certified in dispensing this medication.
