Hello Everybody,
My name is Helen, and my husband is currently in Wasco, waiting to be transfered to the prison where he will do his time. He was sentenced to 4 years @ 85% which is a blessing in it self because he was a 2nd striker and the D.A. wanted him to recieve his 3rd strike. The judge ended up striking one of his strikes so even through he does have 3 strikes we have a second chance at life. I say we because I ended up becoming addicted to drugs right along with him and ended up his co defendant. I went to jail for the very first time at the age of 38 :argh . I know have a felony on my record and I am on 3 years formal probation. Also lost our home in the process. So now he's there and I am left here to clean up the the mess we left and to regain the trust back from our 2 daughters and families. Even we must be apart now and life is hard alone I'm am truely thankful that there is such a forum to reach out to and the he and I still have our lifes.
