I've been home from Pekin FPC for a few months now, and I heard so much about this site in there.

I just wanted to check in because before I left I wish I'd know about this site. Hopefully my two cents here and there will be valuable.

I was only down for 10 1/2 months for 1 count of mail fraud, but man did I learn a lot!

Hello and welcome back to the world! I am looking for info on Pekin as my friend is in Coleman and wants to transfer there. It looks by the dates that you've been out awhile and may not be online anymore, but I am hoping to get more info on Pekin for her. I found a comissary list from '06 and a few other things. I am headed to Pekin on Aug. 21st, self-surrender from Kansas. My sentencing was 1 year and 1 day...don't understand a lot of this and would really like information on turning myself in and what I can and can't take with me, how much money, how mail and the phone system works....thank you very much!!!
