Hey all does any one know the awnser to this? I was just curious if when an Az inmate is released do they have to be married to or a blood realitive of the inmate? Cause as far I Know they do right? My ex had wanted to be paroled out to me, but I am in Tennessee. Even though we have a child together he still can't come here till he is off parole. Right? Thanks!

I am not sure on this, so maybe someone else can help, but I heard that AFTER they get released they can asked to be placed in another state & set up there. The don't have to allow them to leave the state, however. This is up to who ever is in charge of parole & the conditions of parole. I'm not sure on it, however. You could e-mail the DOC and ask that question for clarification, if you don't get your answer on this post.

I don't think they can go to another state unless they have family, at least not right away.

He could apply for an interstate compact. It would probably help if you could get a parole officer where you are to agree to take him on.
