I've heard different things about them in order to get them.
I've heard that you have to be married or living together before he was incarcerated. I've heard that it's a long waiting list. He has to complete most of his programs. It's not offered til near the end of his sentence,like if he was serving 5yrs. Then he would get a trailer visit when it's been about 3yr-4yrs into it.
Is this right? Is there any more to it?

I guess it doesn't matter as long as you get one!

hey girl, well you have to have been commonlaw or married before he went in and if not then you have to be on his visitiing list for a year and visit regularly. This is only for federal as provinical do not get PFV's. There is also a bunch of programs he has to do as well. Just ask his PO if you are eligible.
