i am new to this site and have a brother in prison and i was just wondering if someone could tell me is this site where you can talk to inmates and if not does anyone know how i can find the address to write to him i do not live in the same state that he is in and dont know how to go about getting in touch with him

First of all... Welcome to PTO.

I don't believe any Inmates are able to get internet access from Prison.

To write to an inmate you usually need their Inmate Number and the address to the facility they are at. I suggest you post in the forum for the state your Brother is in. People there would be more likely to know addresses and rules and the like. You might even be able to call the facility and get his inmate number.

Cow girl Hi what you need to do is what state is he in? look up the web site like you then can type his name in and locate him with out his number a phone number will be listed call the number and ask for his ef number they will give it too you. it may allready be listed with his picture on the state site let me know if you need anything.
