Hello to new & old PTO'ers alike..

My name is David and I pulled a 27 month sentence in the feds.. I spent time in county holding, the new (at that time) Federal Detention Center in Houston, Texas and finally at F.C.I. Beaumont - Medium. I was released from the medium security to the federal half-way house (Cornell) at the end of September 2001.

I'll spare you all the rest but you can read the full intro here if you would like:

Look forward to meeting & talking to everyone more!

Thank you David for your vision and for what must be a passion to help so many. I can say without a doubt that PTO has turned my life around. When I knew I was facing federal charges I thought my life was over. I imagined the worst. And for a time I was not planning on facing it at all. PTO has changed all of that for me. Today I have a new attitude, I have answers to tons of questions, and maybe only half the fear as before. This is all thanks to PTO and the people who make this site wonderful.

Thank you,
Sheryl

David....my daughter is going to FDC Houston in May...........what can she expect? As she has a short sentence, should she expect to stay there the whole time, or will they move her closer to home? Anything you can tell us would be appreciated. We thought she might go to Carswell or Bryan, so we were surprised at the Detention Center. Thank you. Suzette:cool:
