I thank everyone for the helpful words.
I think my boyfriend is not a parole violator, because it's his first time in trouble. It's his first arrest, first time in jail...And a non violent crime.:)
So,parole violator is the person who is not in jail for the first time, right?
What is restituiton? My boyfriend ask me to pay that, but i don't know what is that and where i have to call or go to pay.Do u know where can i do that?
Also,he ask me to get a transcript of the trial, where can i get that?
I'm so glad i found this website,now i don't fell alone anymore!!!!:p

Ops...I forgot something.
And about money order? Can i send money order to him?Is the same address?Do i have to put his CDC# in the money order? Please explain me!
No he should not be a parole violator on his first offense. He hasn't been paroled yet to be able to violate.
Restution was ordered by the court on the day he was sentenced and it should be noted in the abstract by the court. Any money you send him to be placed on his books will have 30% (I believe)
taken out and put toward it. I have heard that amount is to go up in June or July of this year but I'm not 100% sure on that or the amount. You can pay the restution at the courthouse but I just let them take it out of his book money.
The transcripts of his trial are on file at the courthouse and you can request a copy of them there. You will need the names and the case # for any paperwork. They do charge for them and you might only want to get the abstract that was sent when he was ordered into custody. That should be fewer pages and less costly.

There are two kinds of restitution orders. One can be a victim restitution order and the other a court restitution order. An inmate can actually have both. Not every inmate has a restitution order so you will have to inquire as to which he has and go from there.
As for the transcript, that is an entirely different document from the Abstract of Judgement (AOJ) which is usually a single page document. The AOJ is the single legal document that contains the inmates offense, sentence and sentencing credits. Do not confuse that document with a transcript or a Minute Order.
There are two types of Transcripts. One is a Court transcript of a Trial and the second is a Sentencing Transcript. The Court transcript is really only necessary for an appellete process and can be obtained as a matter of right for "free" by the attorney of record or appellete attorney so please don't pay for that when you don't have too.
The Sentencing Transcript is the courts offcial record of the actual sentencing and can be extremely important to resolve issues surrounding the courts intention as to "how" the judge intended the sentence to run and as to "how" the judge intended the pre-sentence (sage) credits to be applied. The transcribing court clerk can and often "get's it wrong" and those errors can be further compunded by the records department at CDC.
