OK. Way back in December we planned a BBQ here in Phoenix and plans fell through (I ended up eating all the brownies I made for it).
I am wondering - how many people still want to do this? You would bring food, and maybe a six pack of soda or two. It would be a chance for us to put some faces behind the names (and maybe some real names behind the PTO ID's). We decided on Phoenix, because it is where the majority of us are or can get to. I am thinking North Valley or Metro area.
What I want to know is who's coming with me? Who's coming with me?
Tenatively - look at your schedules for this coming weekend or two weekends from then (paydays LOL).

would love to except I am not in AZ... I just visit there ... and am not coming back until it cools down ... jk

I should be available both weekends (the 17th & 24th right?)..... I would prefer the Metro area if we have a choice as i'm West (75th Ave)... Let me know what's up. Sounds like fun.

Great I work Sat the 24th but not Sunday ...and I live around 59th Av and Thomas I can make a good pasta salad ...just let me know I am there ...basically dont do anything on the weekends ...so lets really do this ..our kids will have fun at the park etc sounds like fun to me

would love to go I am not free till the 1 of may but I work at Wal-mart on 91st and cammelback and live down the street I can always come late when ever you decide to do it that would be great fun and a chance to make some new friends. debi

This is the plan!! Sunday May 1st @ 2PM at Cave Creek Park (now called Rose Moffard Park?) off of I-17 freeway and Dunlap. I will get specific directions, for those that don't know what I'm talking about & post later. I will also PM everyone & bug them about it again later. Even if I'm the only one there, I will be there (eating brownies) and celebrating my life as the wife of an inmate!!!! LOL
FYI - I will be bringing my 4 kids too! We should set up some way to know eachother to, so you don't walk up to people saying, "Excuse me, are you from Prisontalkonline?" at random. Any suggestions?

Make a sign that reads AZ PTO BBQ and put it on the tree or table, with a big ORANGE bow? Just a thought. will help you!

The orange bow and sign is a great idea! I can't wait! Thank you Yvonne for pulling this together. When it gets closer we can always arrange what to bring. I don't want you eating brownies all alone. LOL!

I like the orange to ..the official inmate wife color we should take pictures and stuff I am really looking forward to this ...i cant wait to taste the brownies....i feel excited ..and I feel like we are already good friends and I cant wait to see everyone ...hey we should take pictures of our guys so everyone can see are honeys and stuff maybe some favorite letters ..a little inamte wives club thanks I feel happy today ....

It would be so cool if we all take a picture and post it on pto ..I dont have a digital camera but I think you can get regular pictures on a disk ...we should do this it sounds so cool ..I cant wait maybe I will bring some carne asada ..I stated the no carb diet ..but who knows I might of quit the day of the bbq well have a good one see you all on may 1st

I get done w/ my visit at 3pm from Lewis and then I'll get on the 10 to hit the 17 and find you guys. I'll stop at the store on my way and get some picnic food if you'd like.

Ill be there too....I have a camera that I can bring too.....Im sure that I will be visiting that day, but I will either be done at 11:30am or 3:30pm......But Ill still make it there.....Finally we can put faces to the names!!!
