Good Day Everyone!
I need some help. My mna is in Walton County Jail. THat place is the worst. None of the inmates are getting their mail. They dont let them outside at all. The place is way overcrowded. Charlie is sleeping on the floor. Does anyone know who I can write too? This has got to STOP. These guys have rights too. I know they read the mail I send cause half the time it is sent back to me, because there is always something he cant have. ANd the pages are never in the right order. So I know they read it. PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

Earlier today I posted the link for the Southern Center for Human Rights. If I was you, I would go to their website, do some reading and contact them. I just read an article today about similar situations like this in some ALabama jails/prisons. It must stop, I couldn't agree with you more. There was a time before they expanded the Cherokee Co. Jail in GA when my ex was there for a short time that they were overcrowded and he also had to sleep on the floor and the treatment was ridiculous.
I would contact the SCHR for sure if I was you. Also, does your man have an attorney that you could speak to regarding the cirumstances there??? Let me know if I can help in any way.

Whatever You Do Dont Include Your Mans Name My Friend Did That And The Co And The Warden Found Out Who It Was And He Got Pivk On And Cought More Charges Cause They Mess With Him For To Long He Starded Back With Them And Ended Up In Confinment For 30 Day And 2 New Charges

Unfortuanately, jails are not governed by the same standards as state prisons. Walton County used to have a nice jail but then they began housing inmates from other counties. It got dangerous and overcrowded. The sheriff is fairly new and is a pretty good guy. He is in charge of the jail so you may want to try to contact his office. Also one of the officers in charge of the jail is Capt Etchison. She is very nice. However, I agree with the previous post: you may not want to complain with your man still in there and if you do complain you may not want to give your man's name.
