Hey all PTOers. I am just curious if anyone has any information on getting married in a Canadian prison. I posted awhile back in the marriage forum but the question was asked wrong so I thought I would do it myself. Robert and I are both from Canada. He is serving time in Kingston Penn. right now, and will be for quite some time. So, to make a long story short, if anyone has any information what so ever on the topic please respond. Thanks

I am hoping that our 'Queen of US Prison Weddings' TNC will see this thread!

Perhaps TNC will do a little digging to see what the rules are?

Come on Canadians! What is the scoop with weddings in Canadian prisons!?

I was very misunderstood in the question before, but I will do more checking into getting married in a canadian prison. I do know that here the inmate must first request a marriage packet. As of yet I dont know how Canadian prisons work, but I would think getting the process started would be similar.

I will let you know what I can dig up

You have to request a package, see the chaplain, visit regualrly , and get both his and your birth certificates, get the license and set up for there dates. the chaplain in KP can give you a hand. Me and my man were looking at it awhile ago!! PM if you need some help!!
