Jerann1124,
I have a couple guys I know over at the Beaumont USP. I did all my time at the Medium across the street. What all would you like to know? I could probably fill in some blanks and find out the rest. I do know it is no cake-walk..
Unfortunately, there are a lot of guys pushing hard time for little more than the word of a snitch/witness. My first cellie was doing 20 years for 68 kiloz of cocaine they never caught or had evidence he had in his possesion other than his best friend rolling and stating he did.
Pretty sad,
David

Thanks everyone! It really has been almost 9 years now. The investigation was for 3 years and NEVER did they see him do buys. Nothing, no money, even with all the phones tapped, even the pagers and cell phones. Nothing. He had a bookstore and only $7000. The bookstore was in Alabama. This is were all this started. He was in Atlanta UPS both trust me it's a killing ground here. Anyway, the guy that said all these things, well he was on all the phones and pagers....it goes on and on. They tried him with all of ther others at the end. He only had 1 indictment but he got LIFE. He was not on probation, there were no deaths....all 21 were black males and 1 lady that was 62 years old. She there in TX as well. No he didn't make a plea. His biggest thing was he loved to gamble. and play cards. Bet on anything. Anyway, I guess "Life" means Life.
Thanks everyone so much. I really want him home. I am working on a grant now, for rehab and job search for youth and adults. This was his idea!

Thank you so much! If anyone know of a good Federal/Pro Bono Atty. that can handle a 2255 in Alabama please let me know. I have lost so much many. Then they say I need to pay more to get it back in court.
