I received this information today from a friend and I wanted to pass it along. Many of you will remember this case. The wrongfully imprisoned lasy is my friend's step daughter who is incarcerated at Washington State Correctional Facility in Davisboro, Ga. Her name is Teresa Fargason and she was wrongly convicted of the malice murder of her daughter, Taylor. She has served 10yrs. of a life sentence.
For almost 3yrs. my friend and other family members have worked to
prove Teresa's innocence and have attracted local and national attention to her plight
for justice. They have had great success with the hopes that justice will be found.
For the past 25 months,they have worked with Court tv producers on the show called
' The System ' . It is their ' Wrong Man ' series and they only produce 2 shows like
this per year. We were very forunate that they accepted Teresa's case out of the
many hundreds of requests they receive per year. Last September, they did their
own investigations and conducted interviews with Teresa and all of her family as well
as the person who we think was directly involved in Taylor's death.
The show will air on April 14th, 2004 on the Court tv cable program ' The System '
at 10pm eastern standard time. We hope to gain even more national attention
from this and alert the public and other media of the terrible injustice that has
occurred in the state of Georgia. Please join with me on watching this show
