hey their people could someone who has the disorder of bipolar please pm me i need someone to talk to this disorder is seriously killing me and i have no one to talk to my family hates me my boyfriend doesn't understand it my friend are woundering why i get so emotional no one understands what is wrong with me at all i don't know what do anymore.

Are you in treatment with a mental health professional? Are you on medication? Are you TAKING your medication?

People with Bi-Polar Disorder can lead active healthy lives once their medication is stabilzed.

If you have having these thoughts you should contact your mental health worker as soon as possible. Also, there should be programs available to help educate your family and friends. Encourage them to seek out information so they CAN understand what you are dealing with.

The resources are out there for you, but only if you reach out and accept them. In the mean time, tell us here what we can do to help you.

Amanda, Mrs. D is right; one can be bi-polar and still lead a normal, healthy life.

My guy has been diagnosed as bi-polar...when he stops taking his meds, he gets confused, sad, and very depressed. But when he adheres to the treatments prescribed, he is a completely different person...warm, funny, sweet :)

PLEASE find a medical person or hotline close to help.........I have MANY family on both sides that are bipolar (the youngest diagonised at 2) and though I have not been diagonised I have been seeing and dealing with it...........and the adhd/depression..........

I got these verses from an inmate in Corcoran Prison...It helped me threw the sucicidal days though I still have them and with July 29 th rolling around I am sure I will freak out again..(30 yr sense my gpa commited sucide and we are watching my father) :ha: :ha:

Amanda,There are lots of people here that understand and want to listen and help.we've pm'd and you know i am bipolar too and wish i was there with you to give you a hug. I think you should get ahold of your doctor asap as maybe a change in meds may work wonders. also a support group in your area could make you feel less alone.also you know this mood will pass. i'm thinking of you and hopeing you'll feel so much better soon........love Valerie
