Washington state is shipping out 250 long-term offenders (6+ years left on their sentences) to either Washington DC or West Virginia. My Travis is on that list. :yuck: They can't take him that far away from me!!!! I've been on the phone for days, but no one will give me answers or call back. This is getting frustrating and I'm about to lose it. That will mean no visits or calls or anything but letters and that's going to be a big change for us! Any advice on how to get them not to send him?

Oh wow... I am from WV, right near where the prison is... The only thing I can think of is to try to do hardship stuff... Can he still call you?????? I hope something good happens to get them not to send him there..

i feel so bad for you...that is such a long distance!! so far away...I know how that feels...I hope you can get him to stay there!!!

Oh wow do you have any idea of when they are shipping him out? I cannot believe they are sending him all the way across the U.S. like that! Hopefully somebody lets you know something soon.
