I received a letter from Edward Capetillo in responce to a letter I wrote him and he told me of his life on The Row and how he feels faceing execution. He tells that in the end you are resigned to your fate and that death becomes a friend. He sent me some writinggs from a inmate that was executed in 1996 in Texas by the name iof Carlos Santana. These writings portray a man's mentality before his execution. I am also going to write Efrin Perez who is on The Row with Edward Capetillo.

I am new to this site and am interested in conversations about the death penalty and life in prison, as I have a mother in prison now for attempted murder. I need much realistic information about the death penalty and am willing to share the vast amounts of info I have gathered regarding lethal injection and the process by which a man is executed in many states. Also, as many of you may know, a former Georgia Police officer is slated for execution in South Carolina on April 15th, 2004. Now i find this interesting, as a former employee of the law is now going to die by the hand that once fed him. Any thoughts on this?

I follow the scheduled executions closely and as my favorite DP website has shutdown (The Death House.com) I have gone to others. Any suggestions. The DP Info center is a good one. I have been through the criminal justice system and seen how over processed it is and would like to converse regarding these matters, if anyone would so like to join.

A warm welcome to the PTO family. There are several former Officers on Death Rows accross the country.

If you have any specific questions please feel free to pm me about them. I have been involved with the system for many years and have seen it from both sides of the fence.

Some do face and have come to terms with their executions, many have not. It is sad when a person would rather be murdered by the State then to live in the conditions they are subject too.

As far as my thoughts on the Police Officer being executed, I think it is wrong, no matter what his/her occupation was before coming to the row.
