I Was Just Wondering If Any Of Yall Know Anyone Doin' Time At Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center In Vinita? Does Anyone Know Anything About This Yard Or The Guards Or Anyof The Staff There?

I visited up there 7 years ago but I am sure things have changed a whole lot since then. Back then it was pretty nice. You could take food, cook out, and it was just like being in the park. But they probably have put up fences and put in vending machines now. I really don't know. Sorry.

I WAS JUST CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT KIND OF A YARD IT IS. YA KNOW IS IT A BAD ONE OR A PRETTY GOOD ONE? WHAT ARE THE GUARDS LIKE THERE AND THE OTHER STAFF? WHATS VISITING LIKE THERE? ARE THERE A BUNCH OF A-- HO--S THERE RUNNIN' IT OR WHAT

Gauge dear I think there is at the very least 1 a-hole on every yard. I think that is like minorities, you have to have so many. LOL. But like I said it has been at least 7 years since I've been there so I'm pretty sure things have changed a whole lot. If I hear of anything about the place I will let you know. My ole man would know but I just saw him yesterday and have already went over my budget for the phone this month. Maybe, just maybe I can get him to write and tell me. But I wouldn't count on that. He hates to write but he knows that I have to get at least 2 letters a week.

Guage I go every weekend. They are pretty cool. You don't get to bring anything in except change, two packs of cigs. One for you and one for him. They don't search you every visit. They had a pat down and vehicle search about two weeks ago and that was the first since I have been going since Sept. Don't worry about hugging and kissing as long as it ain't just over excessive. You'll learn to watch out. You can get there at 8:30 and visit til 3:00. You'll come in and turn in your keys and license and sign the visitor sheet and then they will call him. It was a lot different then where I had been before but it is just something you have to get use to. It really ain't a bad yard. There is not a lot of fighting or anything like that that goes on. PM me sometime if you would like. So when is the first time you are going? I won't be there Easter weekend but other then that I am always there. I don't like to miss at all.

I'M NOT VISITING ANYONE THERE I JUST KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN THERE AND SOME THAT ARE NOW. SO WHAT'S YOUR BOYFRIEND/HUSBAND'S NAME OR WHAT UNIT IS HE ON...I MIGHT KNOW SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HIM.

They had a play area outside for the kids, slide, playhouses, swings,it's like a park. The guards at that time were pretty cool, except for maybe one or two but that's everywhere.. you can hold hands sneak a kiss, hug... No assigned tables..it was pretty cool.
