Germany's largest prison JVA Berlin-Tegel has updated its website. The website was designed by inmates and is also available in English (choose language on the main page). Sometimes navigation through the site is a bit difficult, but it's definitely worth a look, for it gives an interesting view on everyday life in Germany's largest prison.

never mind Sascha....there is this sites mentioned that help prisoners world wide, and I just saw that PTO was not with them...just an Idea...so I asked if they were willing to check PTO out and see whether it can be with the support group sites mentioned there... It is a nice website they have....so I will hear from them again...I just wrote them and told them how cool PTO is...

Gosh !!! Why do you Germans make always easy things so complicated ??? I once had a Siemens cell phone, it took me 3 weeks just to understand how to answer a call !!!!

That's a very good site though, and there's even a forum where you can e-mail to prisoners !! :)

Thanks for sharing Sascha

Phil, what is so very complicated??? Never heard of any complications with Siemens cell phones. Maybe you should read the manual in French and not in Japanese. ;)
