We are going to try it again. The chat will be tonight at 9pm hope to see everyone there.

We always start in the main chat room but once it gets busy with people from other place I will create a subroom for us NYkers. For those who have a hard time getting in the room or have never joined the chat just do the following:

*Once you are in the main room you can do one of 2 things.
1. Click on the down arrow to your right where it says main room, you will see NY Chat that is where we are or

2. type /join [nychat] where you would type if you were normally chatting and you will automatically go into the NY Chat room.

Sorry I missed this ... came home from work dog tired, fell into bed and didn't wake up til 4am. How did it go ... good turnout?

Maidenheart you didn't miss us. I was the only one there popping in and out several times. The chat doesn't seem to be going well due to people not remembering about it. I have been trying to get some help from the PTO staff to post a "sticky" for us but no one has responded as of yet. Hope to hear something from them soon. If not maybe we should give up the chat for NYkers.:ha:

NOOOO don't give up the chat.....we need to be able to communicate with others who are facing the same issues that we are in trying to deal with NYDOC. Sometimes I feel that this DOC is the most complex, crooked, and idiotic in the world. And I am sure there are many out there that agree with me

Don't give it up! I couldn't get on last night ... 'puter was not acting right. :( Hopefully it will be fixed soon and I'll be able to join next time.

I'm sorry I was gone so quick last night, my computer totally crashed! I am really enjoying the chats I'm having with Dutchess and dawifey and OutlawsDeb. You guys are helping me more than you know!

dutchess, I am sorry I missed you, when I was in the chat room I told them I was looking for the NY chat room and that the link wasn't there like it had been the last time I came. No one responded so I assumed we weren't meeting I wish I had stayed to read the post you sent. I do think we need to have the NY chat room, getting it started and getting us all together just takes time I think... waving hello to the other NY'ers.
