For those of you know who know me and know that I was trying to move to Oregon from California I made it! I have been in Oregon since Feb. and Loving it. I have not seen my love yet he is currently at TRCI and there is talks about moving him back to either OSP or OSCI any day now so I just dont know, Either way i am not 739miles closer to him and if they move him to OSP or OSCI he will be only 45min away yippie!...if anyone has leads to places around oregon that hire ex inmates e-mail me personally so we can chat...oh i moved to NE portland in case you are wondering....thanks for all your advice and encouragement....Scott will be home on August 9th 2004 and we are looking forward to it....

I am from California too.
I use to live in NE Portland years ago. Portland reminds me of a little Sanfransico.

I live about 45 minutes from Portland now. I don’t know of any places that hire ex- inmates, but if I hear of any I will let you know. Could you do the same for me as well?

I am a transplant myself. Originally from Seattle, lived in San Fransisco for awhile. Now I am here!
If I remember right, the Uemployment office has a list of businesses that will hire ex-cons. Dont' know for sure.

I will have to look into those leads thanks...Well my love got moved to OSCI now so I am happy that I can talk to him on the phone and that my letters get to him ALOT faster...can't wait until i can see him and have him home...AUG 9th ladies and its over all this is so over...YES!
