Hey every one!! I'm excited and not so excited. OK let me explain they moved my man from the main unit to the annex. He says for medical reasons? Whatever that means. anyway, he said that a Capt. told him that and also that he doesn't know how long he will be there. I was told that it was a routine facility reassignment. Apparently the same Capt. told him that he would be moved to region 2 soon. See Florida is set up by different regions in the state has far as DOC is conserned. Right now he is 5 hours away in region 1. When I go to see him I have to leave on Friday and get a hotel for the weekend if I want to see him all weekend. To much driving otherwise. Well anyway, I live in region 2 and all the prisons are within an hour or 2 from me!!! :fb: But now the not so excited part. I just don't want to be let down again. We have gotten our hopes up before about things. We will have something good happen then BAM something worse hapens. I can't help but think that there will be some kind of catch like no visits or only on certain days. Anything to make it frustrating for me to work my scedule to go see him. OR he won't be moved at all!! ARGH!! I'm going crazy aren't I?! :) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CAN'T SOMETHING GOOD HAPPEN FOR US? :fb: Or do we have to suffer for the whole sentence time? HEE! HEE! At least I have something else to worry about other than not getting married this weekend and no anniversary visit!!:( OH I seriously think I'm losing my mind!! It could also be that I'm dieting and have not had any COCA COLA for about a month now!! Maybe I'll go get a 2 liter in the morning!! LOL. Anyway, since I've acted crazy enough for one night I'll end by saying thanks once again for listening to my rantings!! :)

I'll be praying for you guys! I know it is hard when the only thing you can be sure of in the DOC is that nothing is for sure! Being so far away has got to be hard and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Good luck and I hope they move him closer to you!

Thanks. Yes its been hard. He was told before he got assigned so far away that he would be kept in the region closer to me. But that didn't happen and its been one nightmare after another where he's at. So some good news is long over do to say the least.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. No mail today so I don't know what else is going on.
:( Maybe tomorrow? I am missing a letter though. Apparently he sent a letter were he was panicking and telling me to call people when he first found out he was moving to the annex from the main unit. The letter I got Monday was the letter after that, telling me he was sorry for making me worry and so on. So where is the first letter?! Thought it would come today but it didn't. Well maybe I'll find out more tomorrow? Thanks again and I'll keep ya up dated with my soap opera!! :)

Thank you Heather. I can't do the diet coke too nasty for me!! I don't care if they put lime , lemon, or even rum :) it's still nasty!! :) YEP I've gone insane dieting, no coke, stopped smoking, no sex, so what's a girl gonna do?! Maybe that's why I'm so crabby here lately?
Anyway, I spoke to one of the Captains tonight. He was actually nice. Even though he says he's one of the meaner officer's there. He was very helpful and helped me understand the seriouseness of what James has done. He told me that there was not too much he could actually get into but would tell me what he could.He told me that the move to the annex from the main unit was some kind of medical reason and he assured me that its not a serious medical problem by any means just that the doctor is over at the annex and apparently they keep their medical grades there. I told him that I got a letter from James and he told me that they told him at the annex that he was not there for any medical reason and that he was there strictly to do his DC time and he was going to do every single day of it (till DEC.). He apolgized and said that maybe he wasn't told everything but that he had to come in at 7 in the morning and he would do a follow up for me. Then he tells me that he has seen a change in James, that maybe do to his family or me he has realized he has done something incredibly stupid and jeapordized so much. And that there is a good chance he will be moved. apparently James also helped or did something for this Captain something that he couldn't go into with me. I'm assuming this is why he's trying to get James moved. He wanted to assure me that he would try, but that he had some influence but he was not at the top. I told him that when James told me the first time he might move I told him I was not going to hold my breath and I was sure it would not happen. So this Captain tries to assure me he would do what he could do, that he was a man of his word he didn't play games and he would follow up on James in the morning. He sounded pretty confident that he could actually get him moved.

He was really nice to me I couldn't believe it. I even told him that he was the nicest one I had talked to there. He apologized for the others. I had said something about the mail or classifications being rude to me and hanging up on me. He said you have to keep in mind what he did was bad. I said yeah I know but they don't need to take it out on me. He agreed and said he was very sorry. I was floored!! And he claims he's the worst one with the inmates. James told me he has ALOT of respect for him. Its cause this guy treats the inmates how he wants to be treated and he doesn't play games nor lie to them.

So I guess I will just wait and see what happens. He assured me that James is fine and in no danger or anything like that. He said that he's actually better off were he's at now.

OK I'm soooooooo sorry for making this so long. I was just over whelmed by the phone call. Ya know its very rare that ya get to talk to a nice one. I believe he will do everyting he can for James. :)

So I'll keep everyone updated as this unfolds. :) Maybe it will be good?! :)

Oh Heather, he's not in CM just regular 'ol confinement. There was never any more mention of him going to what Florida calls CM.

OK. OK. I'm going. LOL
