Here's what I have on Seymore-Johnson.
Opened in 1989 with a new 60 arce facility opening in 1991.
Inmates serve as the work force for Seymore-Johnson Air Force Base.

Minimum/Male Camp rated for 576

Camp offers GED, ESL, Adult Education(blueprint reading, employment skills) and correspondence courses. Inmates can earn credit toward AA Degre in business Administration through Wayne Community College.

They do offer some vocational training but I don't think you'll be there long enough for any of them. The shortest is a 660 hour training in horticulture.

There's no longer any smoking, it's a non smoking facility. They're trying to close it {the BOP] but it's not final. As far as the atomosphere, it's one of the calmest facilitys that we have heard of. My nephew is incarcerated there for ten years. Not a whole lot of violence.
