I want to let everyone know that the COs at CCC are actually nice!
I was so afraid that they would be so mean since I have heard bad stories about COs during visiting hours. Well, I went to visit my husband this weekend and the COs were friendly and have been all the times I have gone to visit him. So I just wanted to take a moment and post this since I am so glad this prison isn't as bad as I thought it would be!

I'd say I'd have to agree with MissFaust. The C/O's at CCC are very friendly and helpful given the situation our loved ones are in. They usually smile & say hi, and as long as respect is given to them, they have shown it back. I drive a long way and some of them know that, they tell me to have a safe drive home etc....I would advice those new to visiting however to not arrive on the grounds before 7:40 AM (wait on the dirt outside the grounds). Have your jewelry off so we can all get through the metal dectector and to our loved ones faster. As long as you keep a good attitude they have always shown it back. It makes it easier all the way around. As hard as it is for our loved ones to be there, the C/O's are doing their job and we either have to respect that or don't visit. I chose to follow the rules, smile and be respectful and enjoy the visit as much as I can with my man, that's WHY I'm there. It's worth every mile I drive to see that smiling face and get to be with him for the few hours I can. We make the best of the situation. Thanks for starting this thread MissF! Let's hope they can stay off lockdown for my visit in a couple of weeks! LOL! As always, good luck to you and yours..
