From talking to you, you certainly arent crazy, you are a wonderful person, that has a diagnosed illness, and you cope the best way you know how to do. You look after a 2 year old as a single mother, and you survive, and you will be ok. You can always contact me.
You know, the world would be boring without you beautiful people with a mental illness. There would be no beautiful poetery or writings that you do, no art, you are what makes us and the world unique.
Amanda, you are a special person, never forget that. You have alot to offer, and you will be ok. That doc of yours DOES have to get you on a medication that works for you, you said that you didnt find the medication was working. If you are taking it regularly, and to the prescribed dose, and it isnt working, you need to talk to you doctor about changing it.
And just know WE are ALWAYS here for you.

As the mother of 2 sons, 23 and 20 who have been diagnosed as bi-polar. I urge you not to give up. Both my sons have seen huge improvments in their lives because of the medication they take. I know it can have certain side effects. One of my sons has gained about 50 lbs but he as also managed to keep his job for over a year and 1/2 and has been able to stay clean almost 2 years. Things can get better for you. If one medicine doesn't work, ask your doctor to try something else until you find one that works for you. I am wishing you the best of luck
