Hey gang,
Okay Brady is finally placed YAY! Now I found out he is at Charles Johnson Correctional and I called today to get visiting info and I was told it would take 8-12 weeks to process me IS THIS TRUE! Will it take nearly 3 months to get to see him? He's in the 90 Day boot camp program. Then after that what happens? If he's served enough time can he come home then? The guy I talked to at CBJCC won't even give me the address he says I have to wait for Brady to write me and give me all the info. Help.....lost and confused. Thanks for any help you can give... Anybody know what it's like there? Chris if you or your mom are on what can you tell me about it? What will visitation be like once I get it and can he make phone calls?......Thank you!

Ok hun are you guys legally married if not you may have trouble visitng. We were told when Terry was going to be placed there that if we were not married or blood related I wouldn't be able to visit. They may have changed that but you might want to call and ask. They are alot stricter and have different rules for the boot camps than the other prisons.
As for the address well that is easy enough to get as long as long as you have his DOC number you can mail it to this address and it should get to him.
Charles E. "Bill" Johnson Correctional Center
Route 1, Box 48
Alva, OK 73717-9744
(580) 327-8000 Fax: (580) 327-8018
I hope that helps. And I wish for you that the 12 weeks till your visits are approved goes quickly.

Okay thank you for the info no we are not legally married and he should hopefully be out later this year so he wants to wait until he gets out to get married. I will hopefully get the forms to fill out from him this week on the visitation. They said I could visit I would just have to be approved first. I hate that I have to wait 3 more months to see him, it's been almost 4 months since he went in "Sigh"

hey brady,
this is chris. I remember what a pain it was to try to get everything for visits and phone calls approved. Only immediate family can come visit while the inmate is on charlie. Phone calls usually around six weeks after they show up on the yard. there is some kind of packet he will send to you, it will have the visit info, as well as the phone info. people who go through this program come out changed. keep your chin up and don't forget to write. that is what helped me get through and stay focused. you can get visitor forms and maybe the phone forms from the doc website. once that gets approved you'll be able to visit. hang in there

Is he going to get a 120 day review after boot camp?? Is this his first time down??
The first time my son went to boot camp and he was released after Boot. Maybe you'll be lucky enough for this to happen for ya'll. Have you boyfriend check on the 120 day review thing, being he does good at boot camp!!

I Know B.j.c.c. Is In Alva. Thats South Of The Kansas Line And Northeast Of Woodward. Bill Johnson Is Kind Of A Boot Camp/drug Program And Work Camp Combined. I've Known Some Guys Who Have Done Time There But I'm Not Sure About How Long The Program Lasts Or Much Else About The Yard But I Think It's A Pretty Good One. Is It Your Son Thats Going There? Well Any Way Good Luck To Him And You.

Hey Bradysgirl I Was Told That The Address For B.j.c.c. Is...rt 1 Box 48 Alva, Ok. 73717-9744. There Phone # Is (580) 327-8018 And The Warden's Name Is Janice Melton. I Know Gettin Those Visits Approved Do Take A While. At Some Places There Are Temporary Visiting Approvals For Imediate Family Members For The First 30 Days And Can Get Approved Right Away But That Might Not Be At These Bootcamp Places.
