My husband is in Arapahoe County jail in Colorado. I need info on other phone services I can use to get cheaper calls. Right now I use Globel Tel Link they charge me $6.18 a call during the day and $4.97 a call at night plus tax. I have a local number already. But there has to be something else I can do hes been there since Oct. 15, 2010 and Ive already spent almost $5,000 on calls:(. Please I know that is question is asked all the time and I even found what I was looking for but I cant find it again. So please any help would be great THANKS.

If you already have a local number then I'm not so sure I can suggest anything can be done :( that cost is phenomenal & disgraceful that they can charge that much ! That just goes to show it varies state to state for local calls in Cali it's $2.06 per 15 mins thru GTL

I just asked my sister n she said her calls were 2 something but not over 3 I would call them and ask why there so much and I'm not sure but if your alredy using that prepay system I think that's the only one you can use but don't quote me on that ! Maybe someone else with for sure answers will come along n be of more help !

If you have spent $5000 in phone calls since October 15, then he is calling you 9-10 times a day or more.
