Hi everyone, I wrote in to the local newspaper here in Tulsa, Ok. about what they did to me and my baby. They did good piece about it. I dont know if it will change anything but at least I had my say about the way they denied our wedding at the last minute. All the inmates at the place where my hubby is was real proud of me for doing it and told Raymond that he had real good woman and that she really loves you. And that they were glad someone was doing something to try to change their marriage policies. Everyone should have the right ot marry if they are of consent age and in thier right mind to make their own mind up! :fb:

Congrats!! Way to take a stand!! I hope it helps. And I agree with you. Who are they to determine who marries who. Its a very stupid policy. the only thing I've ever done as far as the papers was send out specifics of his case to all surrounding papers and tv stations in my area. One newspaper reporter responded. I gave him all of his case work and it helped him to get a hung jury and a 20 year plea agreement and not a life sentence. Anyway, I hope they change their policies and ya'll can get married. Yes it was in the Maech 21, 2004 Sunday paper in the Local section. Yes after I called the reporter I started to worry about if they could write him up or punish him for me calling the paper.I dont know if they can or not. I did'nt put it in the local paper down there so maybe it wont get to the staff or warden.I cant upload anything from the library.So I would'nt be able to send it on the computer.If anybody knows if it could get him in trouble let me know.
