When your loved one is released from San Quentin, they release at either
7-10am or evening at 5pm-7pm. So if someone at the prison tells you that
they will be released in the morning, don't you believe it. As I learned this
morning, getting up at 3:45 am leaving for San Quentin @ 5:15 am gettting
to the prison @ 6:00 am, waiting for an hour till 7 am, only to find out that
Eric isn't going to be released until this evening. If you call, the prison is
NOT allowed to tell you any information pertaining to the release for security
purposes. They (parole, ex 6000) told me that they have to check and make
sure that they don't have any holds or warrants, once that checks out clear,
they release them, but only at the convience of the insitutional. What a game
they play. So you all know what I am doing this afternnoon, driving back to
the prison by 5 pm. In the meantime, I am going to go take a nap. This
has really stressed me out. Oh and by the way, whoever his parole officer
is, they don't have the information or the time about his release, only the
insitutional does. So when they are released, don't be to surprised if they are
not released in the morning.

Yes in deed Eric is home!!! I posted a thread in coming home, but I thought
I should add this to the san quentin forum as I have been told by my irrestible
honey bunny that currently san quentin is 7 days behind on releases, although
from what Eric told me there have been guys in reception that had been
COP'ED and are still waiting to be released. For all of you that have loved ones
at san quentin when they come up for parole, and you hopefully won't have
to go through what I went through, this is what you tell parole at the prison,
which I think I posted up above, R&R ex # is 5370 and parole is ex 6000
that the State of California is not allowed to hold any inmate 1 day past
there parole date. It is illegal and you should all tell them that. Believe me
I kept telling the parole division at san quentin this, and they got Eric's paper
work done immediately and he was released at 7:35p.m that evening. You
have to follow up on everything when your loved ones are behind the walls.
I mean bug them to death, until they are so sick and tired of hearing your
voice that they will do anything to shut you up!!! :) From the time that
Eric was arrested to his morriessy hearing Jan 29,04 to the insitution messing
with his 1st release date, to his final parole date you have to litterally bug
the s*** out of the State, as they will find any reason to
"Break their own
rules". If any of you whether your loved one is at any different prison other
than San Quentin or San Quentin itself have any difficulties with our Wonderful State Of Corrections, pm me, post it here, what ever it takes, I will
help you in getting there release on time. NEVER BACK DOWN FROM THE STATE, BEAT THEM AT THERE OWN RULES/GAMES. THE LAST THING THE
DEPARTMENT OF CORRUPTIONS WANT IS PROBLEMS WITH THE MEDIA OR
FAMILY FRIENDS. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS LIKE WITH R&R OR REVOCATION
YOU TELL THEM THEY EITHER GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION YOU ARE SEEKING
OR YOU TELL THEM YOU ARE TAKING THIS UP WITH THE WARDEN, OR YOU
TELL THE WARDEN YOU ARE GOING TO THE MEDIA. YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE
HOW THEY WILL BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO SHUT YOU UP!!!! :) :fb: :) :fb:

Hello,Everybody,
I am from California and my son is in prison . His sentence is five years. It is not his first time. I am hoping for an early realise, even I do not know how this is working. I just hear today at radio that 15o inmates were early realised. I do not know how is working that. There conditions,requairements..? But I read here about a judicial reverse, wich I do not know what it is .I undestud that is something you can do after one year, and is a request kind of for reduction of sentence. Does somebody know more about this..?

This Is In Reference To My Release Post~ According To My Husband Eric He
Has Said That He Was Very Fortunate To Have Me Out In The Parking Lot That Day Raising Hell With San Quentin Because The 3 Other Men That He Personally Knows Of That Were Suppose To Leave With Him That Day Did
Not Get Out, And Very Possibly Are Still Not Out. I Also Mentioned That San Quentin Was 7 Days Behind In Releasing Reception Parole Violators
Some Cop'ed That Have Been Waiting Days, Weeks, And Months And Are Still
Behind The Walls At San Quentin . One Man In Patricular That Reached
His Maximum Discharge Date For His Parole Back In Early January Is Still
There And He Can't Get Any Answers From Anyone Concerning His Release.
No Body In Reception Can Get Answers From Conselors, Record Analysts
Or Other Staff Members, It Is Routine To Ignore All Questions And Concerns Of Reception Center Inmates.
