My man might be sent to San Quentin from Pelican Bay soon, I am approved to visit him at Pelican Bay, Does anyone know if I have to fill out a new visiting form to visit him at San Quentin??

Your visiting info is supposed to follow you from instution to instution, but that is a sometimes flawed system. When my man transferred and I went to visit him at his new 'home' their system showed that I had never visited him. And I had just had a family visit the month before. But in that case, all they had me do was fill out an update form, and I got to visit that day.

Your visiting info should follow, unless the other prison does a recheck on your first
application. I have a girlfriend whose b/f was at San Quentin, and then was transferred
out to Lancaster, and they did another check on her background, and so now unfortuntley she can't visit him in Lancaster as her back gound check came back with
some unfavorable information. The best bet is to call San Quentin Visiting Sgt. and
confirm that you are still allowed to visit at the new prison. Suzi
