I want to make sure I have my facts right. Does anyone know if they start counting the 6-8 months till you get your TPM from the day they enter county or when they get sent to diagnosics/boot camp/prision?

Does anyone know if they start counting the 6-8 months till you get your TPM from the day they enter county or when they get sent to diagnosics/boot camp/prision? richardney 03-23-2004, 10:58 AM From the time they arrive at diagnostics. I have been told by the parole board that investigations can take up to 12 months simply because of the numbers that they have to deal with. mrskendrick2you 03-23-2004, 01:43 PM yup its after they leave county and yes sometimes it does take longer than 10 months. Pauley 03-23-2004, 04:54 PM I e-mailed the parole board last week about this and I got a reply today. This is it, short and sweet: "The subject should have a decision in 30 days. Thank you." He has a two year sentence, nonviolent. He arrived in diagnostics Jaunary 13. I don't know if everybody gets this answer or not. The first e-mail I sent was a "general" one about TPM, and they said they needed the EF#. Then I got this one today. Good luck to everyone waiting. :) strongernow 03-23-2004, 07:11 PM The parole board has been much better regarding inmate information and parole investigations status. I have contacted them via email and phone several times in the past two weeks and have been shocked at the information and helpfulness. The TPM question.... it begins from the date the enter STATE custody, ie their arrival into diagnostics. It sounds like good news that you man will have information in 30 days! I emailed regarding my fiance last week and his case is up for parole vote in 60-90 days.. the assistant to the Chairman of the Parole Board emailed me. We are trying to keep positive thoughts and prayers for this day!!! Best of luck to you and your love :) Pauley 04-01-2004, 06:19 PM Got TPM today, July 2004. He went to diagnostics first of Jan., but got EF# in Nov. or Dec. Was in county for 4 months. Hope this might help anyone who is trying to figure it out like we have been trying to do. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you. mrskendrick2you 04-01-2004, 06:53 PM aww that is WONDERFUL!!!! We will find out next month (according to the parole board who keep switchin notification dates on us) when my man's date is... Please pray for us! I am so happy for you guys! Jennifer_04 04-02-2004, 06:31 AM Pauley, that's great that they set his TPM for July! How long has he served all together? And if/when he gets paroled in July would that be 90% time served? strongernow 04-02-2004, 04:28 PM Pauley... WOOO HOOOOO on the TPM! I bet you are so happy :) Glad to hear the good news, keep your chin up! You're on the home stretch now!!! Pauley 04-02-2004, 04:38 PM He has served 8 months altogether. He doesn't fall under the 90% rule. (thank goodness) |
