I have a question, and hopefully someone has an awnser. My ex husband Jeremy is supposed to be getting out of Safford- Fort Grant Unit in August on parole. I live in Tennessee now, and he wants to come here to visit our son. Does anyone know the rules. He is afraid that he won't be able to leave the state of Az while on parole and that he will have to wait until his parole is over. So if any one knows anything please let me know! Thanks!

He'll have to get approval from his parole officer to leave the state and for how long. Hopefully he'll be lucky and be able to go. Good luck.

Yes, that's right. General conditions of parole forbid you from even leaving the county. If he were to go out of State he would have to get permission from his parole officer and it's not likely at first. If he does good, he might get lucky after several months, but I'm sorry to say the chances are not real good.

Just to let you know, you are not suppose to leave the state when you are on parole, but it seems that in the state if Arizona it depends alot on the Parole Officer. If your man stays cool and earns the trust of the PO he may just be abkle to get a visit. It also depends on the crime he was incarcerated for..................Have a good day and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys!
