Ok - my fiance got sentenced to a 6 month rider, and flopped it. But when I do the offender search on him, it still shows his retained jurisdiction release date. He said before that there may be a chance that they'll let him back on his rider because they might not count the DOR they got. What do you guys think? Does the IDOC site keep the date up there even after they flop it?? Or is it just teasing me?! :smash:

They are normally pretty good about keeping it updated. Has he made it back through classification yet? I have never seen one who is weeks or months behind. Does his listing have a parole elig. date or a sentence satisfaction date? You may also want to keep an eye on the parole hearing schedules. I know that when a inmate comes up for parole the board then decides if they are going to keep them or let them go. I dont know if the board has any say in what happens when a person flops a rider or not. I dont know of anyone who has ever flopped a rider, but I always thought that if you flop a rider then you have to do your fixed time. You can also call the board and there is a gal named Maria who is very helpful in trying to answer questions.

I think he has gone back through classification. He's in ISCI and has gotten moved from unit 7 (I think) to unit 10. His parole eligibility date and sentence satisfaction date are both shown along with the date his rider was supposed to end. I don't think he had to go to the parole board to find out if he flopped his rider or not, but I didn't see his name on any of the parole hearing schedules. Maybe they just leave the old date up there... but it sure is mean of them. lol :)

Does the parole eligibility date and sentence satisfaction date show the same as the rider date? It seems that now if someone has done a rider rather they flopped it or not that date will show up. For example if someone completes a rider then is on parole and violates if they go to prison on that violation then their rider date will show up even though it's old. I think it's more less FYI that an inmate has done a rider. It's very hard to try and explain without seeing his info. If you would like me to take a look then PM me his name and I will be able to explain better.

That is great news and it means he will be home before you know it.
