Does anyone have a husband/boyfriend that is at Delta Regional Unit in Dermott? I heard that this facility is the best one for a parole violator b/c the board sends them home quicker after doing time. Is this true?

Does anyone have a husband/boyfriend that is at Delta Regional Unit in Dermott? I heard that this facility is the best one for a parole violator b/c the board sends them home quicker after doing time. Is this true?
I cannot tell you how this unit is now, but I spent time there from 1994 through 2000. Yes, to me this was one of the best units and according to admin staff was about the best unit. For one, they fed the best food. Not all the food was from the farm. A large percentage of the food was purchased, the good stuff.

As for "quicker" parole, the demographics, classification and cleanness of operation of the Delta Regional unit may have bearing on this. Still yet, the Parole Board's decision can be intertwined in other factors such as your prison jacket (Disciplinaries), or family support or someone "pulling strings" for the prisoner which could be the Warden, or someone else in admin, or someone on the outside.

So, I cannot totally admit that because it's the Delta Regional Unit will grant faster parole.
