Hello all. I would love to come to Texas and meet you all but Ill have to save my pennys to go see Robert. Well he was sent to Furgeson allright. He doent seem to happy. I was told hes going to the camp there outside the main unit but is still sitting in general population. He said 150 in the shower at once.He said he wont be telling me what goes on in there so not to worry me. Now Im worried!!!!! Over 1,000 miles away. Needless to say Im trying to figure out a way to go see him. Maybe in DECember after x-mas. So if you all have that meeting around then I could make it. Hes in Midway at the Furgeson unit so Houston International airport or what???? Hes never been in a rREAL hard prison like that. He was in a little mickey mouse farm over here near NM. Well I hope they move him to the camp soon.. Thanks all

It's pretty much standard procedure at most units that have a trustee camp for the person to be first sent to the main unit and then after they see unit classification they are transferred to the camp. I spent 7 days inside main Goree Unit before I saw classification and was sent out to the camp. How long it takes him to get out there depends on the unit and the classification people. I'm assuming he's already a MO.

Trustee Camps are still prison are so much more tolerable than the units. The freedom you have to do what you want, when you want to while you are not working is so much better than being inside. The rules for conduct are much stricter at the camps but as long as he follows them EXACTLY he will be fine.

Good Luck,

Thank you Ralph, Im sure he will follow the rules exactly. He hasnt made it this far by not. I found out that hes already witnessed 3 stabbings in there not to mention all the other activity I dont want to mention. Why do they put an m-o in there with so many violent people? Is it like a test to see if they can keep there m-o or what? Just dare to loose it? Damb and it wasnt easy getting it. I know once hes at the camp he wil be fine its just getting there that scares me. Thanks for your input...........
