Hi,

My name is Annie, I am 42 years old and my 22 year old son has been in local county jail for six months. He is their for probation violation. Does anyone know if their is any time limit on when he may be sentenced. I'm praying for a reinstatment but I think that it's just wishful thinking on my part. I want to get him out of this place it's so overcrowded. Theirs been articles in our local paper about sheriffs pocketing food money. It stated that they were feeding these inmates on $1.72 per day. My dog eats better than this. That the nutrition was equal to bread and water. No wonder he's breaking me with commisary money.

What county is he in? I would have thougth that on a probation violation he would have had to be carried before a judge within a certain amount of time. He should not be resentenced. His sentence should be whatever he was placed on probation for.

Im new with computors so Im not good at researching yet. Ben had a hearing on July 19, 02, the judge stated that he would make a decision within 5 days. It has now been over 2 months. This waiting and not knowing is making me crazy.

Could you possibly contact his probation officer and find out what is going on? He may already know. Just a thought.
