:p :fb: :p I'm soooooo excited... I'm soooooo nervous... and I'm totally clueless regarding Chino. I've read the past threads regarding Chino... but most are pretty old... and having "survived" Donovan's quirks at the dress code... can anyone provide me with info regarding Chino?? What time should I get there? OMG... what are the visiting hours?? Which freeway is faster... the 60 or 90 something? How's the traffic round there?? LOL... my car ain't even running... you think that will stop me?? No way!! Come hell or high water... I will be there!!

I'm bouncing off the walls in anticipation! Come on weekend!! Our VERY FIRST contact visit... YIPPIE!! A hug... a kiss... the scent of his skin... to feel the stubble on his face... run my fingers thru his hair... to feel his arms around me... awww gezzzzz I may just faint! Nah... probably act like a dumbie and start crying... makeup running all down my face... snotty nose... yucky! I'll get to hold his hand... sigh... I haven't held his hand in 6 months. Yep, yep, yep... I'm going to Chino this weekend!

hahha. Christine, be careful...all those things youre missing is called "excessive contact". I am sooo happy for you though! I can feel your excitement too! I know he's going to be so happy to finally hold you in his arms. I dont know what the rules are there, but make sure you keep them in mind while you're reuniting. Let us know how your visit goes. Plus I need info on Chino.

If it is any thing like it was pre-weekend visiting cuts, it was always crowded but I never waited very long to get processed. And never got a visit terminated due to over crowding. Only sent back to change once (because I refused to sew my button down shirt closed at the neck). I even wore a light blue Nike t-shirt that had half sleves. It gets really hot in the summer and they seemed to understand that. I visited outside and the CO's walk around most of the time that you are visiting. So all of that huggging and kissing and smelling will have to be done in that first or last imbrace. :) :ha: It seemed to much more relaxed than other places. MUCH MORE RELAXED THAT THAT DREDDED DONNOVAN!!!!!! People actually smiled at you! But I guess after Donnovan ANYTHING is paradise! It is right off of the 60 freeway and on the weekend mornings traffic should not be bad. If I remember correctly you get off at Central. I do not know how early you should get there now but I used to leave work on Thursday evening get there and still have well over two hours to visit. And on Saturdays I never got there before nine. My husband is not one of those that needs me to be the first one there. Nor do I choose to be. I need my sleep!! :fb: I hope that this helps some. I can not remember the lady that just went and had some issues about still being approved but maybe she can update any information that I gave you or correct any thing that I mis stated. ( her post said something about wondering if she was still approved after her man had been relased and then returned on a violation) Have a wonderful visit!!!

If you are coming from the LA area you can take the 60 fwy east. A little shortcut is to take the 60 east get on the 71 South and exit Chino Hills Parkway and turn left. Go about 2 miles and you will drive right into the prison. If you go all the way to Central off the 60 it is about a 5 mile drive South on Central. I know this because I live a stones throw from the prison. I don't visit there but I can tell those lines are long on the weekends. I see them when I go to the grocrry store in the mornings on weekends. You can see it from the streets. They are long.
