Hello All,
I'm going to visit my baby after work today...first time! After reading some of the general posts I'm more confused then ever as to "what not to wear!".
What are the rules? V-neck sweater yes/no?
I read something about shirts have to be tucked in???
Is it true no underwire bras -- its all I have!
"Chunky heels"?
Earrings okay?
As the day goes by I'm getting more and more nervous.

Thank you all for your suggestions!
Hugs,
Donna

i will respond to all that u said....i have been to about 8 facilities in 18 months but not that one--here is what i do know!

~underwire bra--they will most likely make u take it off and go thru the metal detector without it on and then u r welcome to put it back on afterwards..
~heels? i am not too sure about! that should be OK, but open toed r usually not allowed....
~V-neck sweater--depending on how low i suppose! u have to be careful because if it is too low it is obviously not allowed...
~earrings should be fine! i have seen ALL sizes--huge hoops etc. i would not see a prob with that.
~i have never had to tuck in my shirt ANYWHERE but u want to make sure that ur shirt is not half way up ur back--tons of skin showing! keep it pulled down! :)
~don't have ur pants or anything u wear TOOO tight!
~in different places some rules r different.....for example 5Pts and Elmira--no hoods...Wende--hoods r allowed! no strings......in some facilities--no layering! translation-no sweater on top of shirt....but who knows?!

i would recommend calling or just wear something basic 'til ya know the rules. bring an extra change of clothes just in case.

DON'T BE NERVOUS!!! ur going to see ur man!!!

have a good time! :D

hope i was some help.....

Thank you Jess. I did call and the man who answered the phone said "dress like you're going to church, use common sense." He also said to bring a change of clothes just in case.

I'm going up right from work so I'm wearing "work clothes" which are nice tailored pants, v-neck but a high cut variety and heels. Underwire bra may pose a problem, but hopefully not!
Thanks again Jess,
Donna
