Can anyone tell me about C.S.P. Corcoran Prison in California?
I have a pretty new pen pal here and wanted to know the do's and dont's as far as writting and sending things (like cards~length of letters....ect)
Also is there a web site or any place on the net to learn more about this prison and their rules.............

u could write as many letterz as u want...u could even send him paper n pre-stamped envelopz...u could buy those at da post office...5 envelopz n 10 sheetz of paper per letter...u could send cardz also...but i dont think those glittery n fancy onez are allowed...i try to buy only da simple onez since they have rulez like no stickerz n stuff...u can also send 10 pix per letter...jus alwayz remember dat they read everythin u send so be careful wut u write...well hope dis helpz =)

Thanks this helps.............what about the addressing of the envelope? do you have to put a return address all the time or will just the mane or first inital last name work?

I think you can actually send up to 100 sheets of writing paper per envelope, that is what I've done for my husband who is there.
I would be patient with your penpal at the moment if it seems he's not writing very often, there is a lot of sh** going on over there besides what has been reported in the news.
They don't allow any stickers on the letters, no construction paper but you can send regular colored computer paper if he likes to use it to make cards.
