But, I wanted to send him some stuff on ADD, because he just found out his son "has" this- and they are putting him on meds, etc.... Can I send in a priority enevlope? Can I send in printed info from the internet? is there a limit?
Thank you so much...... :)

Hello-
Well the whole mail thing is simple nothing more then 10 items. If you want to send him info on ADD send it in buches of 10 and put numbers on the pages. You sould put a short note in with all of the packets saying this is 1 out of 10 or something like that. Another tip is to 3 hole punch so he can put it into a binder. If you know how to you can copy and paste to word and print suff on both sides of the papper so you can send him more info at once. Also check the DOC web site about mail gidelines and make sure that you have the right CID number and address.
On another note, my husband is incarsrated and we just got married. So if you want to chat or have any questions feel free to PM me Kristin

it should clearly state why it was returned on the front of the envelope. all sorts of things could apply: overweight, contraband, gang affiliated material, foreign substance, (this could be as a little as a smudge that gets on the envelope), anything. you should be able to see on the envelope what got it sent back. state street is osp i'm pretty sure. the odoc web site gives descriptions and phone numbers for all odoc facilities and more including the vine line and mail rules clearly written. i haven't been there in a while but the addy was www.odoc.com if that doesn't get you there, google it. if they aren't stating why they are returning your mail you should call and ask to speak to the mail room at osp. but check first, if you are sending a lot of info it could be overweight. no staples either. good luck. let us know what you find out.
