20 minutes non contact...that's all they'll give us because they haven't classified him yet. Before they told me "two weeks total for classification" now they're saying "oh no, it could be 2 or 3 weeks total"
I don't think I can handle another non contact visit, let alone only 20 minutes. It makes me so upset to know I can't hug him. So I guess I'll wait until next weekend and hope he's done with classification by then. What a bummer.

SS- WELL, LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE- A NO CONTACT VISIT IS BETTER THAN NO VISIT AT ALL! AND SOON YOU WILL GET CONTACT VSISTS1 HANG IN THERE-WON'T BE LONG!

SS,
Take the time you have with your loved one. Some people can not even visit with theirs due to distance or the DOC. So go and visit and keep reminding him that soon you will be holding each other again. :)
Much respect
Sharon
That stinks!!! Sorry you have to wait for contact a little longer, but it's true that it could be worse...some people don't even have phone calls or visits-looking at it that way usually helps me feel pretty lucky.

I realized just now how selfish I must sound with what I said...I am lucky to have that 20 minutes. Sorry if I hurt anyones feelings. I did not mean to...I think I was more upset with this "classification" thing than anything else.

SilverSilver,
Don't worry about how you sounded in this post! We all understand why you feel this way and this is your place to vent! I have not had to deal with a non contact visit and hope that I never do, but they are a reality and we have to deal with them even if they tick us off!
I will pray that your next visit is a contact visit!

It was three months before I could see my husband once he was sent to prison while he was in classification. Those visits are bittersweet - precious, but when they are over I am so sad. Just hang in there and the contact visits will come.
