hello everyone. my name is Frances, and I am 21 years old. I am from Merced, Ca. My brother was recently transfered from DVI to Lancaster. My best and only friend was killed in a car accident eight months ago. Less than a month later my brother was incarcered. My brother has two chidren. I have a neice who is four, and a nephew who just turned eight. My brothers wife did everything that she could to make sure he would never see his kids again. We used to be very close we saw them daily. We have not seen or spoke to the kids in eight months. This whole experience has been especially hard for my mother. And words can not explain how unbearable it is to watch her cry. This my brothers first time in prison. His time at DVI was a living hell. While in this facility he suffered an injury and was seriously mistreated. So I am relieved that he is now in Lancaster. Although I have heard bad things about Lancaster. I have found a relief finding this website. I am very thankful to find a support, and answers to my questions. I dont have much knowledge to offer, but I would like to offer my support to all those who might need it, or anything else i can do to be of help.
