all those women are so lucky... and i hope all the men that are coming home to them do right by them and stay out of trouble because it is just not worth it to go back in and leave them.. they stuck by their sides...

i wish them luck and happiness and for us we have to wait for our loved ones for over 8 years or so... boo hoo on this.

I think about the last fourteen months and feel like it has been a lifetime...and I am sooo thankful that my husband will be on his way home this time next week...I couldn't imagine having to do the amount of time that you, and so many other strong women are currently doing...I know it is like having to serve our own sentence with the ones that we love...I hope that the time is bearable and goes by quickly...your turn will come...Take care

I hear you. Waiting is not fun.
I have been waiting nearly 15 years now.
We do not know when they will let him go.

Even worse - I do not know if anyone has brought this up before...
If you hoped to have a regular life with children...
Because of the time this becomes impossible or irrational (because of age).

So on top of everything else you need to accept that.
When we first got together I almost had to have a hysterectomy (SP?).
I cried really hard feeling I was not going to be a real woman.
Luckily the doctor misspoke / exagerrated (sp?).
I was in my early twenties at that time.

Now I will be forty this year and accept (better) that I will not give birth.
I do not put blame on my guy.
That is just the way life has turned out.
